The Capital Cup was founded in early 2011 by then acting President of the Carleton Law Society (Michael De Luca) and fellow moot team member (Evan Hamilton). Over the years, the tournament has continued to be hosted by the Carleton Law and Legal Studies Society and Carleton University under the management of the Capital Cup Organizing Committee.
The sustenance of the tournament could not have been maintained without the hard work of each year’s organizing committee and the support from the many tournament sponsors, judges and participants.
